Statement of Expert Group of the Polish Society of Allergology on a therapeutic program of severe allergic asthma treatment with omalizumab

Expert Group of the Polish Society of Allergology has estimated the number of patients eligible for omalizumab treatment at about 1000 patients and recommends implementation of 24 month individual therapeutic program only in the clinical centers which has experience in the treatment of omalizumab. Experts also established schedule of control of patients in the program and possibility of re-enable to treatment.
