Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic, inflammatory disease concurring with periods of exacerbation and remission, characterized by various clinical picture. The first symptoms of  disease can occur at any age. AD runs frequently with other atopic diseases.

Special clinical significance has coincidence  of atopic dermatitis with bronchial asthma (asthma-prurigo syndrome). Severe atopic eczema which developes in infancy is a proven risk factor for asthma. Asthma-prurigo syndrome often occurs with allergic diseases of upper respiratory tract, especially allergic rhinitis.

In this article we present a case of 35-year-old woman who has been diagnosed with asthma-prurigo syndrome, in whom we found significantly elevated levels of total IgE (17177IU/ml), suggesting diagnosis of hyper-IgE syndrome. First symptoms of  broncial asthma  appeared three years ealier than atopic eczema. Our patient has approved hiperresponsiveness to allergens of mite dust, what has shown by symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis. In our patient bronchial asthma was well controlled and atopic dermatitis had moderate course.
